While AM830 has secured the
radio broadcast rights for the Angels games, we do not
have the rights for streaming the games on the internet.
Those rights are held by Major League Baseball Advanced
Media. They offer streaming packages at MLB.com. Therefore, we cannot stream the
Angels or Ducks play-by-play broadcasts. During these
you will hear only silence on our web stream. We are able to stream the pre and post games shows.
We provide our streaming though a Shoutcast vendor,
which provides a stable stream to our listeners.
The Windows Media Player
link to the AM830 Streaming Audio on the CLICK HERE TO LISTEN TAB at the top of the AM830 web pages
will cause the stream to be played by Windows Media
Player.
Similarly, The iTunes link will do the same by playing the stream through your iTunes player.
If you don't have iTunes or don't want Windows Media Player,
you can use a program called Winamp. Winmamp will also play the iTunes stream.
To use Winamp to hear our stream, use the following
link:
http://amber.streamguys.com:5350/listen.pls.
The Winamp Player is the native
player for Shoutcast service and this can be installed
at no charge by downloading it from Winamp.com.

If you receive a "Server Full" message, that means the
streaming server is at its maximum limit. We are currently
reviewing the capacity of our web streaming and will
adjust our maximum concurrent stream limits, when needed.
Our stream operates at 28kbps/mono audio/mpeg. This
stream should be very reliable for most users.
If you have a Blackberry you can listen with the Nobex Radio Companion, which you can download from:
